Dec 14 - 16th

We learned about Grasshoppers and Butterflies this week.

We learned that Grasshoppers make noises with their legs. Ask them how they can use their bodies to make noise. (clapping, stomping,...)

We learned about the caterpillars turning into butterflies. Say this poem with your kids and see if they remember it!

I'm a caterpillar so cute and green. (Wiggle pointer finger.)
I'm inside a chrysalis and can't be seen. (Wrap other hand around finger.)
Wait a little while and you will see why. (Continue holding finger.)
I'll pop out as a butterfly! (Link thumbs and flap hands so they resemble wings.)

We made butterflies with our snack... Cant ya tell :)

Dec 7 & 9th

We had a lot of fun learning about Ladybugs and Spiders. The kids loved their headbands, I know Cora slept in hers for at least 2 nights before Izaac ripped it :)
